Downy Mildew

This pathogenic water mold begins on foliage as small, water-soaked spots. Downy mildew colonies often appear on the underside of leaves before spreading systemically throughout the plant. When growing abundantly, mildew colonies can be confused with gray mold (botrytis) or powdery mildew.
