A product combination of secondary and micronutrients designed specifically for use on turfgrass.
TurfPlex is a formulation of micronutrients most often found deficient in turf grasses. It contains alpha-keto acids, which may facilitate utilization of micronutrients, and increase resistance to environmental stress. It also contains humic acid, which may enhance soil micronutrient availability.
TurfPlex, when added to the spray tank water, will lower the water pH, and can be used in combination with pesticides. However, in unfamiliar mixtures use a “jar compatibility” test.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
FOLIAR APPLICATION (GOLF/TURF)
Greens and Tees: Apply as a spray, 1 to 11/2 fluid ounces of TurfPlex in 1 to 21/2 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet of surface area. Foliar assimilation of TurfPlex is enhanced by the addition of spray grade urea as a tank mix at the rate of 1 to 11/2 ounces per 1000 square feet. Applications are recommended every 7 to 14 days.
Fairways: Apply as a spray, 1 to 2 quarts of TurfPlex in 40 to 100 gallons of water per acre. Foliar assimilation of TurfPlex is enhanced by the addition of spray grade urea as a tank mix at the rate of 2 to 5 pounds per acre. Applications are recommended every 21 to 45 days.
Sod Farms: Apply as a spray as runners begin forming, 1 to 2 quarts of TurfPlex in 40 to 100 gallons of water per acre. See urea recommendations above under Fairways. Applications are recommended every 30 to 45 days.
